Representatives from 14 countries from a total of 23 MS gathered today, on September 25th, in Brussels, for the 2nd workshop on the Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EHRxF). During the session, the European Commission and the MS/C involved on the EHRxF debated the project’s recommendation part 2 and 3 and explored ideas on the standards used by MS/C information blocks (imagining data, laboratory data, technical and semantic standards).
To promote interoperability of health data exchange at European level, the consortium met to reach a consolidation about a common approach, furthering the project’s developments to create a tool with neutral architecture, to be used throughout Europe, by citizens and professionals from both the public and private sectors.
This EU working group is working under eHAction’s guardianship, mandated by the eHN.
